Description
They call her the Emerald Isle, but most days she is blanketed in gray. The wet holds onto the air with a solid grip, day after day. But to the delight of the grays and greens, wild fuchsia grows across the meadows, over rocks, dripping down like blood red beauty: families of plants, so many generations old, that it is not uncommon for a whole wall to be draped in a cloak of dangling red. There is far more than green in Ireland.
