Laura Brightwood is a professional artist. She is a published illustrator for multiple children's books. She has been a commissioned artist for human and animal portraiture for over a decade. Using both digital and traditional mediums, Laura is an artist based out of Hillsborough, NC, just outside of Chapel Hill, home of UNC and Tarheels. Laura is a native of Kentucky, having completed both her undergraduate and masters studies in the Bluegrass state. She is writer, researcher, and psychologist as well. But most importantly, the mother of one amazing little girl.
